Meditation

Meditation is an ancient practice of settling and quieting the mind in order to allow us greater understanding of our life experience. As the mind settles the body follows by opening up an opportunity for stress release and equilibrium of the mental, emotional and spiritual plane.

After 40 years of research scientists have observed predictable and long lasting health benefits from practicing meditation on a consistent basis. These benefits aid in creating greater well-being and harmony in our lives. There are many different approaches to meditation that can be used to good advantage.

Primordial Sound Meditation

Primordial Sound Meditation is a classic type of meditation that uses a mantra as a vehicle to quite and calm your mind. Originated from the yoga tradition of India the technique is over 5000 years old and was revived and further developed by Dr. Deepak Chopra. Mantras are primordial sounds, the most basic essential sound of nature; they have no meaning and are only used for their vibrational values. Because they have no meaning there is nothing to hold your attention at the level of the active mind, which allows the body to shift into a state of restful awareness. In this state we experience stress release and strengthening immunity. Mantras are chosen individually based on a persons date, time and place of birth.

Course Outline:
○ Class One: Introduction &  Personal Instruction
○ Class Two: Perfecting Your Practice of Meditation &  A Vision of Higher States of Consciousness

Supplies:  Handbook and CD provided.

What to bring:  wear comfortable clothing, bring personal water. Pillow or blanket for support and cover if needed. Please, note to limit heavy perfumes, lotions or other strong scented oils due to sensitivities of others around you. I would also recommend eating something light before class and limit your caffeine intake as well.

Courses are taught individually as well as in groups.

Heart Meditation

DSC_7383When gently bringing once awareness to the heart and allowing the energy of consciousness to expand from here, we reconnect with our deepest essence and from this place we access healing and renewal, as well as inner clarity and guidance.

As this occur the electromagnetic field frequencies of the heart increases and the opportunity for manifesting once greatest desires becomes more readily available.
